Sometimes the busy’ness of life grabs a hold of our hearts before our feet hit the ground, before our eyes flicker open in the morning at day break.
In those days and at that moment, more often than not, the tempo and will of the day are determined.
It's in those days we move with the low humming tune of anxiety playing lightly in the background.
It’s in those days we feel the to-do list needs to be completed before we can consult with our father above.
It’s in those days that whatever fills the busy’ness of our minds take priority, becomes the idol and we forget if but a moment what really matters. We forget why we are here.
What I’ve come to understand is that it’s precisely those days that I need Him the most. Because it’s on those days the enemy takes hold.
So let it be this day, that I turn it ALL off, turn the volume to zero. All but the voice of the creator, my why and my who.
Spend time with Him first, acknowledge all the intricate wonders of His miraculous creations.
