#18 Politics
Let's call it the "Epstein Files" episode
I’m not on substack to discuss politics and I am not intentionally following or subscribing to individual and newsletters for political content. At least not the sort that is mostly being had on the interwebs.
But its still in my algo feed. I think this is because we all create content that contains varying degrees of political commentary.
Consider this article one of my rare contributions on the topics of government and politics.
Jeremiah 17:5-9 ESV
«Thus says the LORD: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD.
He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come.
He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD.
He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?»
The so called “Epstein Files” will never be released because;
Self preservation is human nature. It’s the default setting for most humans, myself included. The parties that would be exposed would lose what they have, be it power, wealth, influence in their circles.
Truths would be revealed that as a population (national and global) we are not ready to process let alone accept. It’s simply easier and more comforting to accept the status quo.
What are the “Epstein Files”?
It’s not a book or database of clients.
It is an understanding of who had sex with minors
The things (favors) they did to keep their sin/crime from being exposed
Who did they do these favors for
How did those favors benefit the benefactors
What impacts did those favors have on public policies that were implemented
Which parties called in the markers for those favors
Imagine a Government and political framework in which everything wrong with our society (inclusive of government) was facilitated as a result of these actors and the favors that have been called in for the last 80 to 150 years (at least).
These are the oldest, wealthiest, most influential people on this planet today. They harvest the fruits of plans that were sowed decades and generations earlier.
They make investments today that they don’t expect will yield returns for another fifty to a hundred years.
They keep us distracted and divided bickering over the things we want today, next mid-term or the next presidential election.
They are playing a very long game. We can call it 5D chess, racist, anti-Semitic or whichever type of phobia that affects you today or tomorrow. But the short answer is they are acting from a low-time preference point of view while the world is acting out of a high time preference psychological mindset.
Imagine a global elite minority group that pretty much controls every aspect of our lives.
Food, banking, education, health care, military, media, climate/environment, retirement, financials, entertainment, religion and so on. All controlled by this minority group that we call the elites via the folks we are voting into office regardless of what party we voted for. Their underlying agenda is supported (be it in different ways) by both parties.
The public will never see the “Epstein Files” because the people with the authority to compile and make the information public are either implicated, have family members and associates that are implicated or they fear for their lives. It is for these reasons we will never see the Epstein Files. This is captain obvious stuff to many of us, but not so obvious to most of us. So, I thought I’d spell it out.
The short of it is this; society will see no progress as a divided nation or species.
The Bible shows us how this has been a recurring cycle of human existence and behavior since the first sin back in the book of Genesis.
What can you do today to help?
Get to know Jesus, follow Him, trust in Him, obey Him so that you can love Him as he loves you/us.
No facts, no degrees, no studies, no access to classified information or high level political contacts, just obvious to a layman pleb.
