John 14:27 ESV
«Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.»
I slept well last night.
I fell asleep feeling like a boy that just learned the hottest girl in school really loved him.
Not only that, but that girl knew of all my faults, my sins of days past and the ones that may be hidden in days to come. But yet, she still loved me. Who told her and how did she come to know?!
At the moment she loves me more than I love her. But with each passing day, as I get to learn the sound of her voice my love for her grows more.
As I ponder about what might lay ahead in my life, she’s a part of every part of those thoughts.
She’s there when I am laughing.
She’s there when my heart aches.
She’s there when I am in my quiet secret places.
She’s right there beside me when it’s time to be in the big places, taking their pictures, shaking their hands and kissing baby foreheads.
She’s there with me in those moments when my flesh gets the better of me.
The world disappears as I know it and there’s no one around, but her. She is there, right beside me. In time she becomes me and I become her.
Her wants are my only wants.
Her needs are my only needs.
In the hermitage of my mind surrounded by nothing but the miracles of His creations, she is there.
The busiest and most important of all that is, but yet she is there. With me. She is there, always.
As the days pass, two hearts, two minds and two sets of footprints become one.
I slept well last night.
In the name of Christ Jesus I pray these words.
Amen and amen.
If you’ve made it this far, I thank you for your time and attention, the two most valuable assets we have in this life, so it means more to me than I can express in mere words. 💙🤗 may your days be filled with blessings and peace.
To my current supporters, thank you for your early encouragement. Let’s keep creating together! Cheers to many more inspiring cups of fulfilling creations.
That is all and once again thank you for reading.
